EXTON, Pa., Sept. 16, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- To meet the growing demand by organizations looking for credible employer recognition, Energage today announced it has continued expanding the Top Workplaces program to now include all five New York City boroughs, plus five daily newspapers in Montana, bringing the total number of regional markets the program reaches to 53. Just last month, Energage, a purpose-driven company that turns employee feedback into business intelligence that organizations can use to improve culture and earn authentic recognition, launched its first national award, Top Workplaces USA, plus year-round recognition opportunities through industry and culture excellence awards.
AMNY Brings Top Workplaces to New York City's Five Boroughs
To bring Top Workplaces to New York City, Energage is partnering with Schneps Media, a leading local media company based in Queens, N.Y., serving New York City, Westchester, Long Island and Philadelphia. Launched on September 1, 2020, AMNY Top Workplaces is now accepting nominations for all organizations with 50 or more employees in the five boroughs: Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island. The nomination deadline for 2020 is October 30.
"The workplace has changed dramatically in the past several months and we have seen people across all industries do amazing things to adapt and overcome these immense challenges," said Josh Schneps, owner and publisher of Schneps Media. "It was important to us to team up with Energage to give organizations across our five boroughs the opportunity to be recognized for their commitment to putting people first. The response, just one week in, has been tremendous. We look forward to a great relationship with Energage and are excited to see which NY-based organizations will be named to the inaugural AMNY Top Workplaces list."
Long-Time Partner Signs on for Five Daily Newspapers Across Montana
Lee Enterprises, a leading provider of news, information and advertising in 77 markets and based in Davenport, Iowa, is a veteran of the Top Workplaces program, owning both the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison, Wis. Through this expanded agreement, Lee Enterprises has added Top Workplaces to the Billings Gazette, Independent Record, the Missoulian, The Montana Standard and the Ravalli Republic, five daily newspapers that span the Treasure State.
"I couldn't imagine partnering with anyone else on an employer recognition program like Top Workplaces," said Brian Walsh, classified advertising director of Lee Enterprises. "Energage has been a terrific partner and we very excited to expand that partnership as well as the Top Workplaces program within Lee. Distance is no longer a limiting factor in recruitment for a large number of organizations, so partnering with Energage on a statewide program in the great state of Montana is something we are very excited about."
Nominations begin on September 27. Organizations with more than 50 employees in the state qualify for the Top Workplaces program. The 2020 nomination deadline is November 6.
"We are pleased to welcome Schneps Media, and to continue growing our partnership with Lee Enterprises," said Dan Kessler, president and COO of Energage. "This is an exciting time, as we just announced the launch of Top Workplaces USA 2021 plus industry and culture excellence awards. For the first time, organizations that prioritize their people are going to be looking hard at the impact their culture investment has had on the balance sheet over the past six to seven months. Having done the research on this for 14 years, we know they will not be disappointed. And the fact that Schneps Media and Lee Enterprises have chosen now to launch these programs just underscores the demand for this now and going forward."
Nominations for the regional and national Top Workplaces programs are now being accepted. Winners will be determined using the same criteria, comparing their results across one employee engagement survey comprised of research-based statements, including 15 Culture Drivers that are proven to predict high performance. Awards in addition to Top Workplaces USA and the regional programs will be announced throughout the year, with a focus on key industries and timely culture categories, such as Top Workplaces for Women, Remote Working, Clued-In Leaders, and more. Lists of winners will be announced beginning in January 2021.
