One of the web’s leading all-remote job boards shares top industries for jobseekers on the hunt for fully remote roles in 2022.

In January 2022, Virtual Vocations polled hundreds of working-age adults about the greatest benefits of working from home. Among the top benefits: More control over schedule, no commute, better job security in uncertain times, improved productivity, better management of mental or physical health, and having more time with family and friends.

As more businesses embrace remote work options, Virtual Vocations is naming the top industries for jobseekers on the hunt for 100% virtual roles.

A new report from Virtual Vocations names the top 20 industries for fully remote jobs in 2022.

Founded in 2007, Virtual Vocations is a family-owned, 100% virtual company that has worked to connect jobseekers with legitimate remote job openings from expert-vetted employers for the last 15 years.

In its latest report, published Monday, the all-remote job board cites internal data to reveal which 20 industries were representative of the highest number of fully remote job postings from February through June 2022.

The report also references data on projected job growth and salary trends from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Payscale, and the Project Management Institute. The report uncovers:

  • The top 20 fully remote job industries for 2022;
  • Job outlooks, median salaries, and top trending remote jobs for the 10 best fully remote career fields;
  • Links to Virtual Vocations company profiles for 60 remote-enabled companies that regularly hire for fully remote roles; and
  • Links to 100 remote jobs supported by the 20 best fully remote job industries.
