TORONTO, July 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Girl Pow-R, the Canadian all-girl pop rock group, has announced participation in this year's Boys of Summer Tour. The tour, which starts on July 9th, has been held annually since 2014, and features a myriad of young artists and influencers from around the world, with headlining names such as Brandon Rowland, Zoe Laverne, and Sam Hurley. Tickets range from regular performance access to backstage passes and meet and greets, giving the fans a chance to interact with the performers.
"We're honored to have been chosen for the Boys of Summer Tour," said Girl Pow-R manager Dawn Van Dam. "Things have been progressing quickly and the tour really validates what we've accomplished these past two years. It was only on April of 2017 that the girls, their parents, and I first met."
"We couldn't be more excited," said Girl Pow-R member Carina B., "we love to perform and getting to do it in front of a whole new audience, in these big cities, will be really fun and special."
Girl Pow-R will participate in the Northeast portion of the tour, with performances in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York, and Boston, respectively, between August 8th and 11th. The tour proper begins in Seattle on July 9th, with other performances scheduled throughout the country. All in all, 18 cities will be toured (city schedule available here).
The shows are open to all ages (even in venues that regularly operate with 18/21 or over policies) and special priced "parent tickets" are available to accommodate younger fans lacking permission to attend the shows unaccompanied.
Tickets are on sale now and certain cities are close to selling out; visit the KLiK Events website for further information.
