“We’re very fortunate to have Steve join the team as we take the next steps in our managed services transformation.”

TPx Communications, the premier managed services provider, announced today that Steve Farmiloe is joining the TPx Channel Partner Program team Feb. 1 as Director of Channel Sales, West.

In this role, Farmiloe will oversee the West Region’s channel managers in enabling TPx partners to deliver complete managed IT and communications services backed by TPx’s high-touch customer service.

Farmiloe comes to the role after two decades in sales and marketing. Most recently, he was founder of The ATaaS Group, delivering Agency Transformation as a Service, where he helped independently owned telecom sales brokers, VARs and MSPs to build value for their businesses. Prior to that, he spent nearly five years as General Manager for Top Speed Data Communications, one of TPx’s top-performing sales partners. Under his leadership, Top Speed grew from eight to 35 independent sales agents, and it restructured sales revenue from primarily transactional connectivity to 65 percent managed cloud services solutions.

“TPx and I have known Steve for many years as both a sales and channel leader,” said Ken Bisnoff, Senior Vice President of Sales at TPx Communications. “We’re very fortunate to have him join the team as we take the next steps in our managed services transformation.”

For the past several years, TPx has focused on transforming from a telecom services carrier to a managed services provider to deliver increasingly higher value services that drive business outcomes for customers. TPx offers managed communications and collaboration, managed IT services and managed connectivity solutions, including UCaaS, Contact Center, SD-WAN, firewalls, Office 365, endpoint security, backups, data center colocation, Internet access and more.

TPx is now ranked No. 2 among the world’s most elite 501 managed services providers named to Channel Futures MSP 501. The company also was recognized as a CRN Elite 150 and Channel Partners Insights Rising Star.
