NEW YORK, Oct. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Trade Commission of Spain in New York and Wines from Spain announce the return of Spain's Great Match, celebrating its 25th anniversary, to Los Angeles. The event will be held on Thursday, November 8 at The Bazaar by José Andrés in the SLS Hotel. This collaborative extravaganza with Wines from Spain and Foods from Spain celebrates the distinctive wines, food and culture of Spain.
Over 160 wines representing many of the diverse grape varieties and wine regions of Spain, will be featured in a walk-around tasting format. Spanish wineries and their American importers will be presenting the best of their portfolios, including new wines and the latest vintages, to wine industry professionals during the day and consumers in the evening.
To kick off the day's festivities, select members of the wine trade and press are invited to various tasting seminars in addition to the walk-around tasting. The tutored seminars will focus on wines from the renowned regions of Rías Baixas, Rioja, and Castilla y León.
In the evening, Spain's Great Match will open to the public for a ticketed event that will feature, along with the wine stations, a mix of traditional and contemporary Spanish tapas created by the extraordinary Spanish restaurant, The Bazaar by José Andrés.
