Trance4mation Nation and U.S. Veterans Ring the NASDAQ Closing Bell
New York, NY (PRWEB) January 13, 2015 -- Leslie Robinson, President and Founder of Trance4mation Nation and CEO and Founder of Trance4mation Games, had the honor of ringing the Closing Bell at NASDAQ MarketSite on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Times Square. Several of our nations’ veterans representing all branches of the military joined Ms. Robinson.
Introduced by NASDAQ president Hans-Ole Jochumsen in a ceremony before the ringing, Ms. Robinson noted, “We, as an organization, are dedicated to helping our service members and their families to feel they are truly appreciated here on the home front, in tangible ways. What makes us (Trance4mation Nation) unique as an organization is that we offer multiple ways to heal, celebrate and to strengthen the bonds of military families."
Ms. Robinson announced that one such effort is the upcoming "Thank You Challenge” launching nationally on Memorial Day, May 25, 2015. Since World War II, only 1% – 3% of the American population has served. “Thank You Challenge” seeks to give the 97% who have not served ways to say thank you. Another effort is Ms. Robinson’s reintegration communication tool Warrior Spirit Mission Homefront – a communication “game” designed for soldiers and other military personnel and their families and friends. A research team directed by Dr. Glen Milstein at the Colin Powell School for Civic & Global Leadership of the City College of New York since 2012 has studied Warrior Spirit Mission Homefront. Over 500 veterans and Service Members have indicated that using Warrior Spirit has “made them more open to listening to others than they usually are, and that they feel more willing to reach out to others.“
In 2009, Ms. Robinson, a psychotherapist with a private practice in New York City, founded Trance4mation Games, a company formed as the overall company for her Keep It Real brand, Warrior Spirit Mission Homefront, and Recharge Beyond the Bars Re-Entry game.
