WICHITA, Kan., Jan. 12, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Barney Lehnherr, President of Transitions Group, Inc., recently announced plans to retire after nearly 30 years of service. Consistent with the company's management succession plan, on January 1, 2023, Brent Dorrah, the company's current Vice President of Furniture Options, succeeded Barney as President. Brendan Hogan, the current Director of Operations for Furniture Options, will succeed Brent as Vice President of Furniture Options.
Transitions Group, Inc. is an employee-owned industry leader in temporary housing and furniture rental catering to people in transition. Barney served as the Vice President of Furniture Options for nearly 20 years before succeeding the company's founder, Bill Jackson, as President of Transitions Group, Inc. in 2016.
Barney, who will remain on the Board of Directors for Transitions Group, is planning to transition to retirement in 2023 while serving in an advisory role as Brent settles into his new role as President.
Brent Dorrah, celebrating 30 years with Transitions Group in January, said, "The company has benefited greatly from Barney's extensive knowledge of the industry and steadfast leadership. Brent joined Transitions Group in 1993, holding several positions, starting in the warehouse as a delivery drivers' helper to being promoted to Vice President of the Furniture Division in 2016. Brendan Hogan, who has been with Transitions Group for over 16 years, will assume Brent's position as Vice President of the Furniture division. "Brendan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of our operations. His years of experience with our company made him an excellent candidate for this position. I am very excited for him and the future of Furniture Options with Brendan leading the way", said Brent Dorrah.
Hired in 2006 for Inventory Control & Systems Specialist position at Furniture Options, Brendan Hogan excelled in that position, eventually moving to General Manager and then to Director of Operations in 2013. Brendan took on many additional operational duties at Furniture Options, including overseeing the IT Department. He has been vital in opening and growing Furniture Options in new markets. "His well-rounded experience makes Brendan a great choice for Vice President of Furniture Options. We are all excited for Brendan in this new role.", said Barney Lehnherr.
