As Vice President of Language Services, Grimes will oversee the next phase of Smartling’s disruptive approach to delivering high quality translation services. Grimes will report directly to Smartling’s Founder and CEO, Jack Welde, and will be based out of the company’s Dublin office.
Grimes, himself an industry veteran, brings more than 20 years of experience in the translation management and language services industry. He joins Smartling from Welocalize, where he served as the General Manager for all of Welocalize Europe, responsible for all EU Enterprise operations. Grimes is recognized as a strategic, customer-oriented leader who leverages an empathetic approach to building and mentoring highly functioning teams.
