Industry Experts to Host a Webinar on How Student Housing Communities Can Select the Right Transportation Partner to Deliver Safe, Reliable Shuttle Service

We have enjoyed establishing strong partnerships with major student housing property owners and management companies across the United States implementing comprehensive, innovative solutions to enhance their transportation systems.

The TransPar Group of Companies is partnering with Student Housing Business to host the webinar ‘More Than an Amenity: How to Select the Right Shuttle Transportation Partner’. The complimentary webinar is taking place on Tuesday, October 9, at 2:00pm EDT and will be hosted by Doug Martin, President of TransPar, and Patrick Kneib, Director of Business Development at TransPar, and moderated by Richard Kelley, Publisher of Student Housing Business.

“Transportation is often at the top of the list of things property managers love to hate,” stated Martin. “How many drivers do we need? How do we train them? What type of license and which endorsements do they need? What if we have different types of vehicles – are the drivers one-size-fits-all? When should shuttles be run? All day? Part of the day? Answering any one of these questions incorrectly can significantly impact service delivery, create an unsafe environment for the transportation system, expose the property and investors to an unnecessarily high level of risk, and ultimately negatively impact revenue.”

In this webinar, student housing property owners and managers will learn how to improve transportation and turn their biggest pain point into their property’s most valuable amenity. There will be discussion on how to think strategically about transportation for residents, how to recruit and retain the ‘face of your property’ - shuttle drivers - best practices and programs to acquire a shuttle or fleet of shuttles, how technology (e.g. shuttle tracking app) should be ‘table stakes’ for millennial residents, and how to implement an efficient and cost-effective transportation system for student housing properties.

“We have enjoyed establishing strong partnerships with major student housing property owners and management companies across the United States,” added Martin, “implementing comprehensive, innovative solutions to enhance their transportation systems and allowing them to focus on their core competencies of managing real estate. We look forward to sharing our expertise on this upcoming webinar which will hopefully shed some light on the subject and allow others to focus on what they do best.”
