Vaginal Mesh Lawsuits Move Forward Against American Medical Systems, as Federal Court Sets New Dates for Bellwether Trials, Bernstein Liebhard LLP Reports

According to an Order dated March 11, 2014, the Court has set new dates for the proceeding’s first and second bellwether trials. The first trial is now scheduled to begin on June 2, 2014, while the second trial will commence on July 7, 2014. Plaintiffs further allege that the implants were defectively designed and manufactured, and accuse American Medical Systems of failing to warn patients and doctors about their potential risks.
