Trapp Technology Appoints Jim Mapes as Chief Information Security Officer

Mapes is a 25-year veteran of Information Technology, including 19 years in information security, and 14 years in senior leadership roles, of which eight were in a CISO titled position, and 10 years working with healthcare provider organizations. He has acquired a unique matrix of experience in cybersecurity thought leadership including designing information security programs and operations, advising executive teams and boards, as well as deep technical experience performing forensic investigations, intrusion testing, and incident response. Jim has worked extensively with healthcare companies and providers to secure patient medical records and meet HIPAA compliance.
