TribeTokes ranks No. 2,888 with 108 percent three-year revenue growth, and is the only New York City cannabis company on this year's list
NEW YORK, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- TribeTokes, the women-founded hemp and cannabis brand, today announced it ranked No. 2,888 on the 2026 Inc. 5000, the annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The company grew revenue 108 percent between 2022 and 2025, and reports it is already up another 50 percent year to date in 2026. It is the only cannabis company on this year's list headquartered in New York City. Past Inc. 5000 honorees include OLIPOP, Athletic Brewing, Bombas, and Chobani.
Degelis Pilla started TribeTokes in 2017 and runs it today with co-founder Kymberly Byrnes. The company has never taken outside investment. Growth came from email and organic search rather than the venture funding most of the category raised over the same years.
"I started this company with $10,000 out of my own savings, and that is still the only money anyone has ever put in," said Degelis Pilla, co-founder and CEO of TribeTokes. "No investors, no board. The math had to work from month one, and that turned out to be the advantage."
TribeTokes has published third-party lab results for every product it sells since its first year. The company added QR codes to its packaging linking to certificates of analysis before the 2019 vape crisis made lab testing a national story, a decision Rolling Stone documented at the time. That standard now covers the full catalog: vape cartridges and disposables, THCa flower and pre-rolls, gummies, tinctures, and topicals.

The 2026 Inc. 5000 class generated more than $385 billion in revenue in 2025 and added 627,208 jobs over the past three years. Median three-year growth across the list was 130 percent.

METHODOLOGY
The 2026 Inc. 5000 ranks companies by percentage revenue growth from 2022 to 2025. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2022, and be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent as of December 31, 2025.
