Trident University International raised $6,320 to provide sixty local military families with a $100 gift card each.
CHANDLER, Ariz., March 7, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- For the fifth consecutive year, Trident University International (Trident) partnered with Joint Base Los Alamitos and the Los Alamitos Area Chamber of Commerce for the Adopt-a-Family program to raise money for local military families.
Exceeding the initial goal of $6,000, the Trident community raised $6,320 for the military families in the Adopt-A-Family program. Each family in the program received a $100 gift card, and due to the generosity of the Trident community, teen family members also received gifts this year.
"Our Give Back Committee was overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and generosity displayed by Trident employees for the Adopt-a-Family drive," remarks Kendra Temple, Director of Alumni Engagement. "We exceeded our goal, and with the additional funds raised, we were able to purchase dinner and movie gift cards for teens who had not originally been sponsored. All families were so appreciative and grateful to the Trident community."
