Dr. Conna Bral, Vice Provost of Trident University International, has published a chapter titled, "Leading in an Online Environment through the Lens of Servant Leadership," in From Grassroots to the Highly-Orchestrated: Online Leaders Share Their Stories of the Evolving Online Organizational Landscape in Higher Ed.
CHANDLER, Ariz., March 9, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Trident University International, a member of the American InterContinental University System, (Trident) Vice Provost, Dr. Conna Bral, has published a chapter in the book, From Grassroots to the Highly-Orchestrated: Online Leaders Share Their Stories of the Evolving Online Organizational Landscape in Higher Ed through OLC Press.
Dr. Bral joined Trident in August of 2022. She is a veteran online educator and researcher, holding both teaching and leadership roles over the span of 25 years.
"I co-authored this chapter with Dr. Stephanie Hinshaw from Butler University. We saw this as an opportunity to share our learnings with the greater educational community through practical examples of how to apply the pillars of servant leadership to remote work settings in higher education," states Dr. Bral.
Over her career as an educator, Dr. Bral has led efforts including program approval and accreditation, new program and course development, student performance and retention, faculty training and development, and several student growth initiatives.
Additionally, Dr. Bral has served as a doctoral dissertation chair. She is a published researcher of topics including assessment in higher education, leadership in online organizations, quality in competency-based programs, and online teacher preparation. Her research interests include online learning, assessment, and higher education.
Dr. Bral holds a Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She earned a Master's in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa, a specialist degree in educational administration from Drake University, and a Bachelor's in Education and Psychology from Mount Mercy University.
