Trident's next Culture of Education and Research (CORE) webinar, "Literature Review Strategies for Doctoral Research," is scheduled for Thursday, June 4. This will be the 40th installment in the series.
CHANDLER, Ariz., June 3, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Trident at American InterContinental University (Trident) will host its next CORE webinar, "Literature Review Strategies for Doctoral Research," on Thursday, June 4 at 4 p.m. Pacific.
"Literature Review Strategies for Doctoral Research," will be presented by Dr. Indira Guzman and Dr. Kenneth Cromer. This presentation will cover the steps in conducting a literature review for doctoral students, best practices, and techniques. Two of our doctoral graduates will discuss their experience doing literature reviews and describe their examples.
Expect to see a presentation that will be geared to students completing their dissertation in Trident's Ph.D. in Business Administration program. Students from other doctoral programs, or who are interested in doctoral programs, are welcome to attend.
Launched in May 2015, the CORE webinar series is designed to provide faculty, students, and alumni an opportunity to share their research and skills with the Trident community.
Coordinating this effort are Trident's Doctoral Studies Directors, Dr. Ryan Dwight, College of Health and Human Services, Dr. Indira Guzman, Glenn R. Jones College of Business, Dr. Wenling Li, College of Education, and Dr. Heidi Smith, Dean, College of Education. Each college takes turns hosting webinars throughout the year, covering subject matter relevant to Trident's six doctoral programs.
During its five-year span, the CORE series has served as a forum for development for doctoral students and alumni, covering the entire dissertation process, writing for doctoral research, publishing in academic journals, and more. Additionally, alumni have had the opportunity to present their research to an audience of scholars and researchers.
"Literature Review Strategies for Doctoral Research" will be presented on Thursday, June 4 at 4 p.m. Pacific. Register here.
