Trinity Consultants Acquires U.K. Ecology Firm ECOSA
International EHS consulting company Trinity Consultants recently acquired Ecological Survey & Assessment Limited (ECOSA) of North Baddesley, Hampshire, U.K. which supports clients with ecology regulations, required consents and protected species licenses, and ecological compensation and enhancement measures as required by local development planning processes.
DALLAS, June 13, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Trinity Consultants, Inc.® (Trinity), an international environmental, health, and safety consulting firm, announces that it has acquired Ecological Survey & Assessment Limited (ECOSA) of North Baddesley, Hampshire, U.K. ECOSA collaborates with clients to comply with ecology regulations, secure necessary consents, obtain protected species licenses, and deliver ecological compensation and enhancement measures required as part of the planning process. U.K. legislation requires that Local Authorities consider the potential impact of any development on the biodiversity of a site and the nearby area. ECOSA's clients include architects, housing developers, construction companies, education providers, conservation organizations, private home owners, and planning authorities. Founded in 1999, ECOSA comprises ecologists who are licensed to address the needs of protected species including bats, hazel dormouse, and great crested newt.
ECOSA founder and Managing Principal Ecologist Simon Colenutt will continue to lead the team, providing technical expertise, client management, and staff development.
