In 4K video installations, every component needs to meet or exceed HDMI 2.0 standards to ensure support for video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 60 Hz and high-bandwidth digital content protection (HDCP 2.2). Tripp Lite's new HDMI 2.0a cables and HDMI 2.0b extension cables go beyond HDMI 2.0 to support 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for excellent brightness and brilliant color on HDR displays.
Cables in 3- to 20-foot lengths have specially designed gripping connectors to help ensure components stay firmly attached to avoid viewing interruptions. With greater port retention than typical HDMI connectors, the gripping connectors resist vibrations that can loosen connections over time.
