The event kicked off Tripp Lite's Strategic Alliance conference, an annual partnership and learning opportunity for Tripp Lite's premier reseller and distribution partners.
This year's Women of the Channel event took place at the W Chicago–Lakeshore, a luxury hotel adjacent to Lake Michigan in downtown Chicago. The event provided an opportunity for female sales and marketing professionals from the Strategic Alliance conference to network in an informal setting while sharing ideas for career development and advancement. Tripp Lite's internal women's group, GROW (Growth and Retention of Women at Tripp Lite), inspired the event's focus.

She emphasized the importance of self-promotion and offered the audience practical advice for making a strong first impression with customers and colleagues.
