SHREWSBURY, MA (PRWEB) October 14, 2015 -- TriStar Plastics, the leader in engineered plastics solutions, announces a bearing design white paper, Plastic Bearing Design: A Guide to Form, Function and Selection is now available. The guide gives manufacturers an easy-to-use guide for matching bearing form to industrial function.
“Bearing selection can be an overwhelming process for industrial manufacturers given the sheer volume of plastic formulas, specialized liners and off-the-shelf vs. custom-fabricated shapes,” says Richard Cedrone, CEO of TriStar. “Our plastic bearing design guide simplifies the selection process by reviewing top bearing forms and key functions, and it shares lessons learned from real-world industrial applications,” he adds.
Plastic Bearing Design Guide is available at no cost, and includes a comprehensive analysis of the mechanical, thermal and electrical attributes of different plastic bearings, reviews critical design standards, and reveals new design options available through plastic surface modification.
“At TriStar, our approach to service is value-added; we want to support our engineering partners by providing the resources they need to make informed decisions about bearing selection. This guide is just the latest in a vast inventory of free bearing technical resources, “ Cedrone adds.
