The Reserves Network Acquires Summit Technical Services
Fairview Park, OH (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- The Reserves Network, a leading provider of staffing services for the office, industrial, professional and technical markets, has acquired Summit Technical Services.
Founded in 1988, Summit Technical specializes in providing contract staffing services for engineering, software and professional design. The company has four office locations in Braintree, MA; Warwick, RI; Cheshire, CT; and Malvern, PA with customers and contractors throughout ten states. The company will maintain the Summit Technical Services name and brand, and operate as a specialty group of The Reserves Network.
Jeff Casey, senior vice president of Summit Technical Services, will continue to oversee business operations. Rick Barry, president & founder, will depart after 25 years with Summit Technical Services, and 34 years in the staffing industry. All internal sales and recruiting team members will remain with the company.
"As two companies with very rich histories come together, we anticipate many great opportunities will lie ahead," says Casey. "The Reserves Network is a company whose culture and values of quality, reliability and integrity mirror those of Summit Technical."
This marks the third acquisition The Reserves Network has made in the last five years, and the first staffing firm the company has acquired with a presence in the New England and Mid-Atlantic states.
"Summit Technical Services has spent the past 25 years developing a distinguished reputation for providing superior talent to its customers," says Neil Stallard, CEO of The Reserves Network. "We’re honored to have them as a part of our family. Their business model is a natural complement and significant addition to TRN’s specialty groups. "
Adds Nicholas Stallard, chief financial officer of The Reserves Network: "This acquisition accelerates our growth plans and strategic expansion of services. It’s exciting for us to now be a part of these new markets, which Summit has been proudly serving for so many years."
Headquartered in the Cleveland suburb of Fairview Park, Ohio, The Reserves Network was founded in 1984. The veteran and family-owned company is privately held, and has received multiple honors for outstanding sales growth and management excellence. The Reserves Network expects to place nearly 20,000 employees annually through its more than 40 operating locations in the Midwest, Southeast, and now Northeast, and works with customers nationwide.
