SAN JUAN, P.R., August 1, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- TPZ Ventures, LLC., DBA Tropizen, a Puerto Rico – based medical cannabis cultivator and manufacturer, announced the harvest of its first crop, which will be available for purchase by medical cannabis patients from dispensaries throughout the island.
The crop was groundbreaking for Tropizen, with a yield 50% higher than projected. The final crop consisted of 32 strains, many of which are rare or have not been available to Puerto Rico's patients.

The 22,000 square foot facility is state-of-the art, raising the bar for cannabis cultivation and manufacturing in Puerto Rico. Plants benefit from integrated cultivation controls and full electrical and irrigation backup. Tropizen is expanding their indoor cultivation, as well as building new outdoor cultivation in two adjacent acres in 2018.
