Troy Industrial Announces SHARP Recertification
WATERVLIET, N.Y. Troy Industrial first achieved SHARP certification in December 1999 and has maintained high safety standards and operations excellence for 20 years. This year marks the eighth time Troy has been recertified.

OSHA’s SHARP program recognizes small business employers who have used OSHA's On-Site Consultation Program services and operate exemplary safety and health programs. To recertify Troy Industrial, OSHA conducted an analysis that included:
• Interviews with management and employees
• Full shop inspection
• Verification of all reports
• Review of Safety Committee notes
• Review of Job Hazard Analysis
• Review of new processes and equipment
• Review of all Safety Data Sheets
• Verification that Troy had no loss time recorded due to safety issues
