Upon check out or discharge, patients will automatically be redirected to the secure TC Trustee® Host “Hosted Payment Page,” which resides on a different domain, where they enter their card data to complete the transaction. Their credit card data is entered directly onto TrustCommerce’s servers reducing risk and liability to the healthcare organization.
This secure solution eliminates the need for Allscripts FollowMyHealth clients to capture, transmit, or store credit card information, greatly reducing the risk of data exposure and offering a path to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) scope reduction.
The hosted payment page is simple to set up and can be customized to reflect the organization’s brand, providing a seamless customer experience.
