WINDSOR, Conn., Jan. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Tsugami/Rem Sales, the exclusive North American importer of Precision Tsugami machine tools, announced today that it will demonstrate the Tsugami SS38MH-5AX and the Tsugami B0205-III LaserSwiss at the MD&M West Expo in Anaheim, California February 5-7, 2019.
For the first time ever, Rem Sales will exhibit the Tsugami SS38MH-5AX at MD&M West this coming February. The Tsugami SS38MH-5AX is a 38 mm chucker-convertible, B-axis sliding headstock CNC lathe that performs full 5-axis machining. The Tsugami SS38MH-5AX features a 40 tool magazine, 10 tools on the back tool post, and an optional 2 tools on the deep-hole drill holder as well as linear glass scales on the X1-, Y1-, Z1- and X2-axis slides.

Rem Sales will also demonstrate the new Tsugami B0205-III LaserSwiss – a compact, 20 mm, 5-axis Swiss-turn with a fully integrated laser cutting system. This machine combines Swiss style machining with laser cutting on one machine, allowing manufacturers to perform Swiss turning and laser cutting operations with a single setup. All operations are programmed and driven from the machine's FANUC 0iTF control. This machine features 10 tool positions in addition to the laser, and is convertible, meaning it can be run as a traditional Swiss style lathe using a guide bushing or operated with an optional chucker kit.
