Scott Nelson wanted to inspire children and young adults learn about the law of attraction and how to use it to better the quality all throughout their lives. This objective led him to write “Garbage Can Lid” (published by Balboa Press), a story about twin boys living on a mystical planet who must use their magical powers, positive affirmations and the law of attraction to create a new destiny.
Scottie and Stephen are identical twins who have very different views about their magical powers. However, everything is about to change when the twins’ uncle gives them a beautiful moon bird named Sing Sing for their 11th birthdays. While he mesmerizes the twins with tales of magic and alchemy, Sing Sing also tells them that through positive affirmations and the power of attraction, they have the ability within to harness fire, water, wind, the earth and the magic of their words to manifest their destiny. On a journey to unlock their hidden potential, the twins must learn all the skills to create a new life for themselves while helping others in the process. Will they reach the Magic School safely?
“Many people know about the law of Attraction but they dismiss it or misunderstand it. It brings more light onto the subject. It will help children to visualize their power and their ability to use the law of attraction in a positive way to better their lives and to help others,” Nelson says.
The publication of “Garbage Can Lid” aims for children to learn the power of attraction in a way that is unique, creative and fun, one that they can understand and be imaginative in their own way, learning from children their own age.
