ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., June 13, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The local owners of two local Pet Wants businesses have decided to expand their mobile operations into brick-and-mortar locations. Othman Fadeel, the owner of Pet Wants OC North, and Shannon Weel, the owner of Pet Wants OC South, will both be hosting grand opening celebrations at their new locations on Saturday, June 22.
"This community has been very supportive of Pet Wants and we're both excited to be opening physical locations to better serve the Orange County area. People – and their pets – love our food and treats and having storefronts will make it easier for people find us any time they need something, rather than looking for us at an event or waiting for our free delivery," Weel said.
Pet Wants' specially-crafted, private label pet food formulas are made in small batches with fresh, natural ingredients enhanced with vitamins and minerals for a complete and balanced diet in every bowl. Pet Wants offers multiple blends of dog and cat food formulas as well as all-natural treats, healing salve, calming balm, anti-itch spray, paw wax and more.
Pet Wants has a 100-percent, money-back guarantee on the freshness and quality of the food and the company only sources the best salmon, chicken, lamb, brown rice and other ingredients available. There's no sugar added, no fillers and no animal by-products and Pet Wants never uses corn, wheat, soy or dyes, which makes the food great for animals with allergies.
"We've been working on building a name for Pet Wants here in Orange County and we're excited that our new storefront locations will allow us to have more products on hand and to serve more people. We're looking forward to seeing both our businesses grow," Fadeel said.

Fadeel opened Pet Wants OC North in October of 2018 and has been operating a Pet Wants kiosk in downtown Brea. He has a cat named Tyson whose urinary tract infections, along with his own health scare, inspired him to look for a new kind of food for himself and for his cat. He has a background in management and, while working at PetSmart, he became an impromptu foster parent for animals left at the door after hours. He has taken care of foster dogs, cats and parrots in addition to the pets he brought home as his own, including two tanks worth of fish, three bearded dragons, a cockatiel and two cats.
"Working with animals and helping people care for their pets was rewarding and fulfilling for me. I think, for many of us, pet nutrition is overlooked. We've had pets all our lives and, unless there's an obvious health issue, they've eaten whatever pet food you can get at the grocery store and they seem to be relatively healthy. But the truth is that, when you feed your pets better food, they have a better opportunity to live a healthier – and longer – life. Just like with people, if you eat fast food all the time, you'll survive, but you won't feel great and it will impact your health over time," Fadeel said.

Weel opened Pet Wants OC South in November of 2018 and has been selling Pet Wants products at local events. A single mom with two kids – Lily and North – Weel opened Pet Wants to provide a better life for her family and her pets, including her dog Roxy and her two cats, Piper and Robin. When she found Pet Wants, Weel felt that the company hit all the marks: it was about animals, nutrition and community involvement while also being flexible, exciting and family-focused.
"I'm passionate about the health and happiness of animals. I joined Pet Wants because this company allows me to provide the freshest, most nourishing pet food to the pets in my community so they can live long, healthy lives. Pet Wants often starts with education – I want to get to know your pets and their individual needs so I can help you find the products that might work best for you and your family. Pet Wants is also different because of the freshness of our food. Pet Wants food is made fresh and in small batches here in the United States and many of our products are homemade," Weel said.

Pet Wants only uses high-quality proteins and never uses added sugar, fillers, animal by-products, corn, wheat, soy or dyes.
