Ristorante Cavour, MAD, and BCN Taste & Tradition are three Houston restaurants known for their high-end cuisines that twist the modern with the traditional. On October 8th at Ristorante Cavour, award-winning Executive Chefs Maurizio Ferrarese of Ristorante Cavour, and Luis Roger of MAD and BCN Taste & Tradition, will be combining their talents to offer diners a unique menu influenced by their Italian and Spanish heritage.

The seven-course menu, available for one night only, will highlight three courses from Chef Ferrarese, three courses from Chef Roger, and a combined dessert collaboration. The menu will include seasonal fall favorites, such as butternut squash and apple-vanilla bean ganache, and will feature entrées and appetizers of seabass, veal ossobuco ravioli, seared scallops and more. Available for $98 per person, Chef Ferrarese and Chef Roger’s menu will also offer sommelier-selected wine pairings for an additional cost.

Tucked in Houston’s Uptown Park mere minutes from the Galleria, Hotel Granduca’s Ristorante Cavour features authentic Italian luxuries within an intimate setting. The small space allows for interaction between chef and guest, and this elegant event will be no exception. As seating is limited, reservations will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

About the collaboration, Executive Chef Ferrarese said, “I’m excited to work with Chef Roger. I think our talents complement one another well, and will offer our guests a dining experience that they’ve never had before. Combining fine Spanish and Italian dining into one collaborative seven-course meal will be a night they’ll never forget.”

The Spanish-Italian Kitchen Takeover Menu with Executive Chefs Ferrarese and Roger will only be available on Tuesday, October 8th starting at 7 pm. Space inside Ristorante Cavour is limited. To RSVP to this exclusive event, email Executive Chef Ferrarese at or call (713) 418-1000.
