This big move is two years in the making and will increase communication, logistics, and productivity.
ATLANTA, Jan. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- TydenBrooks, the global market leader in security seals, announced today that they are moving their main European operations to a new facility in Rochester, England. The new facility, located at 18 Sterling Park, Laker Road, will bring the companies' European sales, marketing, and customer service teams as well as their product warehouse together under one roof. This big move is two years in the making and will increase communication, logistics, and productivity.
TydenBrooks Europe will now be more centrally located and closer to the hub of mainland Europe. This will allow for faster deliveries and increased turnaround time. Whereas before it would take six to seven hours to reach mainland Europe, now it will only take about an hour and a half. Capacity for holding product in the warehouse will increase substantially by 40 percent from the old location with the use of intelligent racking and logistics. This new facility will also lead to a 20 percent increase in staff.
"In addition to increasing communication, logistics, and production, our new location will add an inhouse printing facility," said Spencer Davis, General Manager of TydenBrooks EMEA, "this will allow us to mark (number and barcode tracking) cable and bolt seals for small batch customers right in the facility and deliver within a week."
The new 9,500 square foot facility will be up and running by end of the month.
