U.S. Security Associates Gave Back Over the Holidays
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) December 31, 2015 -- U.S. Security Associates (USA) provided a variety of community support over the 2015 holiday season. Across the United States, the security company’s employees and local offices donated and gave back in unique ways to connect and show support to the localities where they live and work.
U.S. Security Associates kicked off the season of giving at their headquarters in Roswell, Georgia by participating in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots campaign. Further down south, at the branch office in Winter Park, Florida, the team there joined forces with their professional associations’, the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando (AAGO) and the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), to ensure members of their community were provided for this holiday season. The team donated toys that AAGO gave to Toys for Tots to guarantee less fortunate families in the Orlando area would have presents for their children on Christmas morning. They also donated household items and baby supplies that ASIS, in turn, gave to the Harbor House of Central Florida, an organization that helps victims of domestic violence.
The security company’s spirit of giving spread from the south across the United States map. The Houston, Texas branch office participated for the second year in the Texas Military Forces’ toy drive. The donated toys were handed out, by the members of the Texas Military Forces, to children who are patients at pediatric hospitals across Texas and have to spend their holiday in the hospital. In the northeast, local branch 513 in White Plains, New York organized a food drive. In anticipation of the upcoming holiday season, the White Plains team began collecting food items in early November. Shortly before Christmas, Marc Cibelli, Operations Manager and Bill Flores, Branch Manager of the White Plains office, went to the Grace Church to drop off the donated food items to be used in the soup kitchen at Grace Church’s community center. And finally, over on the west coast in El Centro, CA the local branch office there participated in the Calexico annual Christmas parade on December 12, 2015. The security company provided three patrol trucks for the parade. Additionally, several security officers walked the parade route to show unity and pride for their local community.
