A nationally known speaker and author, Marti appears frequently at industry conferences, presenting to employer and consultant audiences on topics related to absence, productivity, and compliance. She is the founder, lead author, and executive editor of Matrix Radar, an industry blog bringing commentary and clarity to employers and absence and benefits professionals nationwide.

Marti began her career in management-side employment law in private practice in Denver and as in-house employment counsel for national companies. She has now been in the absence management industry for nine years. Marti received her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law.
