United Breast Cancer Foundation is the Title Patient Sponsor for Twisted Pink 2022 events, raising funds and awareness in support of metastatic breast cancer research.
HUNTINGTON, N.Y., July 12, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) is honored to announce it is the official Title Patient Sponsor of Twisted Pink's 8th Annual Gala, "An Evening Inspired," to be held on Saturday, July 16th at Churchill Downs, in Louisville, KY. This annual event raises funds to support metastatic breast cancer research and provides hope to all those affected by metastatic breast cancer. UBCF's sponsorship covers admission for breast cancer patients, survivors and their guests. The goal is to acknowledge those affected by metastatic breast cancer and support their needs while coming together for an evening of hope through funding research specific to metastatic breast cancer.
Breast cancer patients and survivors can attend the Gala and bring a plus one. The Gala will feature a variety of exciting opportunities for breast cancer guests. During the event, patients will be acknowledged and recognized. The annual Dace Polk Brown Ambassador Award will be given to a Community Partner that has portrayed commitment to support Twisted Pink. In addition, there will be dinner, a live and silent auction as well as a Wheel of Chance.
UBCF and Twisted Pink hope this event inspires many and provides those affected by breast cancer with joy and a break from their worries. All proceeds from this event will fund research for metastatic breast cancer, an advanced form of breast cancer that has metastasized to other parts of the body.
In addition to hosting their Gala, UBCF is sponsoring many other Twisted Pink events in 2022. UBCF just supported the Metastatic Breast Cancer Travelers sponsorship, where a group of 50 metastatic patients attended a retreat in the Florida Keys from June 30th to July 5th. The event was a success, and attendees enjoyed a fun vacation filled with joy and relaxation. On September 15th, UBCF is sponsoring "Give For Good Louisville", a local online giving day hosted by the Community Foundation of Louisville. Twisted Pink uses this day to celebrate survivorship and educate patients with a live fashion show and gifts for individuals that attend the event in person. Lastly, UBCF is sponsoring the 2022 Twisted Pink "Golf Scramble" on October 17th at the Wildwood Country Club. This is a fun event for patients and survivors to engage in some friendly competition. UBCF cannot wait for these exciting events to take place.
