Industry veteran Rafael Olivares brings his 30-year track record of excellence in global business development in the telecom and system integrators market.
DUBLIN, April 26, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cloud infrastructure automation vendor UBiqube today announced that Rafael Olivares has joined the company as Head of Sales & Partnerships for the Americas. Olivares spent most of his career in senior management roles with leading solution and system integration vendors and has a long-standing track record of successful sales and project deployments in the telecommunications (telecom) market across a wide range of technologies, from 5G to cloud.
Based out of Miami, Florida, Olivares will spearhead UBiqube's outreach to telecom operators, communications service providers (CSPs) and Fortune 5000 enterprises in the Americas with a focus on solving their hybrid cloud migration challenges. Olivares will lead the buildout of the ecosystem of UBiqube-certified partners to deliver integrated cloud management solutions.

He worked for 17 years at Ericsson, where he served in a variety of roles including business advisor in Spain; managing principal in Johannesburg, South Africa; head of mobile network industrialization in Sao Paulo, Brazil; key account manager in Mexico City, Mexico; and vice president of sales and business development in Miami, Florida. Other prior positions include CEO of Latin America for Mahindra Comviva and co-founder of Kommbo Mobile.
