UNCF and Kroger Partner for Coin Canister Campaign
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) June 17, 2016 -- What: UNCF and Kroger join together to invest in better futures through Kroger’s coin canisters donation campaign in North Texas. Since its inception in 2010, the campaign has raised more than $80,000 with the placement of canisters at every checkout lane, encouraging the community to pay it forward. Proceeds from the sixth annual campaign will help provide Texas students the resources to get to and through college and assist UNCF-member institutions such as Huston-Tillotson University (Austin), Jarvis Christian College (Hawkins), Texas College (Tyler) and Wiley College (Marshall) in providing quality education.
