SoCal VA Homes Hires Four Veterans to Expand Exclusive Real Estate and Lending Services for Veterans and Active Service Members.

I’m so excited to welcome our four new Veterans to SoCal VA Homes’ real estate and lending team. Each of them takes such pride in serving fellow Veterans as they discover the joys of homeownership.

SoCal VA Homes – a real estate and lending company that offers services exclusively to Veterans and active service members – has furthered their manifesto of “Veterans Helping Veterans” with the recent hire of four new Veterans to their team. These new employees understand the unique challenges Veterans face when purchasing homes – particularly in competitive markets – and are professionally licensed through the California Bureau of Real Estate (BRE). All four are already hard at work promoting the company’s unique and powerful programs that enable Veterans to become homeowners.

SoCal VA Homes’ four recent hires are:

  • Mike Bullock – Sr. Property Specialist at SoCal VA Homes, U.S. Navy Veteran (’67-’71), Petty Officer Second Class of USS Niagara Falls, USS Guadalupe, and USS Enhance, BRE licensed in 2000
  • Dave Velazquez – Sr. VA Loan Technician at SoCal VA Homes, U.S. Navy Veteran (’69-’71), Seaman USS Hoel DDG 13 Guided Missile Destroyer, BRE licensed in 1976
  • Robert Dickie – Director Construction at SoCal VA Homes, U.S.A.F. Ret. Veteran (’67 - ’98), promoted to Colonel in ’90, real estate investor since ’72, BRE licensed in 2017
  • Felix Figueroa – Sr. Property Specialist at SoCal VA Homes, Sgt. U.S.M.C. Veteran (‘04-‘10), BA Business Administration of Phoenix, BRE licensed in 2013

"I just love working here," says one of the new employees, Mike Bullock, Sr. Property Specialist. "I couldn't be more proud of the work that we do for our Veteran clients and the one-of-a-kind programs offered here." SoCal VA Homes offers three main programs to provide easier, better ways for Veterans and active service members to buy homes: the Veteran’s Angel Program, the VA Construction Financing Program, and the Dreamweaver Home Purchase Program.

Often, Veterans are at a disadvantage when it comes to purchasing a home in a competitive market. Veterans using SoCal VA Homes’ services will quickly benefit from the knowledge and expertise of other Veterans since they already possess an in-depth understanding of the many misconceptions and unfair treatment Veteran home buyers commonly encounter. Having this insight, along with a range of innovative VA programs available to this team of real estate experts, allows these Veterans to give other Veterans the upper hand in real estate transactions. Army Veteran Sgt. Roldan Ranan shares, "I just closed on a condo, and I was represented by SoCal VA Homes. They funded my VA loan, too. I really admire their innovations and tactics used to support Veterans in property negotiations.”

“I’m so excited to welcome our four new Veterans to SoCal VA Homes’ real estate and lending team,” says Peter Van Brady, Owner of SoCal VA Homes. “Each of them takes such pride in serving fellow Veterans as they discover the joys of homeownership.”
