The ReTree Awards are a way for us to thank our partners and customers for their commitment to sustainability and to demonstrate how using electronic forms translates into saving trees.

A unique sustainability award is recognizing the profound impact of digital forms on the environment. Quik!, a provider of forms automation and management solutions, presented the inaugural ReTree Award to Docupace at its Vision 2019 Client Conference this week.

Docupace is a technology platform built to automate operations within the financial services industry. Together, Quik! and Docupace enable financial advisors and wealth management firms to streamline workflow by filling out online forms accurately and efficiently, eliminating the need for paper and therefore, saving trees.

“Eliminating paper forms not only makes users happier, they get the added bonus of helping the environment,” said Richard Walker, CEO of Quik!. “The ReTree Awards are a way for us to thank our partners and customers for their commitment to sustainability and to demonstrate how using electronic forms translates into saving trees.”

One tree can produce 8,333 pieces of paper. By using Quik! forms automation, financial advisors have helped save more than 30,000 trees since 2002. Since partnering with Quik! in 2011, Docupace has directly contributed to saving 7,190 trees.

“We are honored to be the first recipient of the ReTree Awards, but more so we are proud of the eco-friendly benefits that have resulted from our partnership with Quik!,” said Mark Tapling, CEO of Docupace. “Docupace is also an organization committed to sustainability.”

Walker presented Docupace with the award — a 14” x 21” Baltic Birch art display — on stage at the Vision Conference on April 24.

The ReTree awards provide an opportunity for companies integrating forms automation in their business workflow to receive credit for their sustainability efforts. The recognition coincides with National Arbor Day, an opportunity to recognize the important role trees play in our environment.

Quik! partners with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 10,000 trees a year. With 20,000 trees planted to date, the impact is significant. Those trees could reduce 392 tons of air pollution, intercept nearly 1.012 billion gallons of rainfall and sequester 6,362 metric tons of CO2 over the next 40 years.

Quik! customers save a tree’s worth of paperwork every hour of every day. To learn more, please visit: http://www.quikforms.com/TreesSaved.
