NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- For the second year in a row, Universal Processing, LLC. has been recognized by the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA). Chief Operating Officer Bufan Yang has been selected for the ETA's annual "Forty Under 40" list. Last year its Founder and CEO, Saint Hung was one of ETA's awardees. ETA's Forty Under 40 list is designed to be a representation of all of the evolving segments of the payment processing industry and to highlight those whose actions and leadership are driving the payments industry forward. Yang and the other honorees will be celebrated at an awards gala during ETA's TRANSACT trade convention, the premier event for payments industry professionals, April 30 – May 2 in Las Vegas.
Universal Processing was founded specifically to be a force of good within the payment processing industry by addressing the needs of a demographic frequently ignored by large FinTech companies – the small to midsize minority-owned businesses. Pursuing the highest ethical standards and transparent principals, the company now manages over $1 billion in annual revenue.
"We're very proud of the ETA's recognition of Bufan Yang for their 'Forty Under 40' list," said Saint Hung, Founder and CEO of Universal Processing. "He has demonstrated a tireless devotion to Universal Processing's mission, and continues to propel our company to become one of the most successful merchant service providers to minority business owners anywhere in the United States."
Yang joined Universal Processing in 2013 as Chief Operating Officer and partner. Throughout his six years he has worked to bring valuable modern technology to smaller merchants so that they can expand their payment capacity, address the needs of the 21st Century consumer and grow in the current competitive environment.
