COPPELL, Texas, Aug. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- uniview tec, the new alternative to innovative and feature rich IP security solutions, introduced its new Starview line of 5MP cameras, which delivers sharp and detailed images in 2592 x 1994 resolution and extremely low illumination. These cameras have an extensive range of features including true day/night, wide dynamic range, color video illumination, and PoE power back up in order to enable vivid on-screen security footage and virtual smear-free view. With rugged metal housings, these cameras are IP67 weatherproof rated to keep recording even in heavy rain and snow.
Available in bullet, turret and vandal dome variants, these smart security cameras offer fixed lens and varifocal lens options. The fixed lens configurations have two variants – 2.8mm and 4mm. The vari-focal lens configuration offers a focal length of 5x with 2.7 mm – 13.5mm lens. Such a wide range of lens configurations makes these cameras an efficient option for a wide range of security applications and allow users to take advantage of the full display potential of 5MP without any pixilation issues.
The bullet, turret and vandal dome cameras, all three housing styles have H.265 digital signal processing compression. This processing method is based on uniview tec's U-code enhanced encoding and compresses the security footage to preserve the network bandwidth and remove storage constraints. For instance, if you can employ five cameras with your current security system, then with a H.265 compression method at work, you can employ twenty cameras. This way, you save 80% to 90% of your bandwidth and storage. H.265 compression also increases the retention period of your security footage. For instance, if you normally record 3 months of footage, then with H.265 security equipment you can record effortlessly 6 months of security footage.
Another ingenious feature of this series is the ANR (automatic network replenishment). Powered with ANR, uniview tec's Starview cameras automatically load the security video onto SD card when there is a network interruption. When the network and connection is restored, the video stored on the SD card is then transferred to the network recorder. Experience effortless video surveillance with uniview tec IP cameras!
