This event is meant to spearhead donations and awareness for the Block Enterprise Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists residents in economically disadvantaged areas in Texas residents pay their property taxes.
Nipsey Hussel, born Ermias Asghedom, is a Los Angeles native and one of the most recognizable rappers out right now, with several renown mixtapes and songs, including "Bullets Ain't Got No Names," "All Money in Records," "Marathon" and "Crenshaw."
Hussel is known for his humor and took his stage name from black comedian Nipsey Russell.
