SAN RAFAEL, Calif., April 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This program will offer an all skills and position specialty volleyball camp in Rockford, Illinois at Rockford University, and will be directed by Jennifer Saylor, Head Volleyball Coach for the Rockford University Regents.
Saylor is currently entering her second season with the Regents and has over 10 years of coaching experience at the club, high school, and collegiate level. Before becoming the head coach at Rockford University, Saylor was head coach at Lake Forest College, Illinois College, and Morton High School. During her time at these institutions she was named Midwest Conference Coach of the Year and took her teams to the MWC Tournament multiple times.
Saylor, along with her volleyball staff, will bring many years of volleyball knowledge to this new volleyball camp in Illinois.
"We are very excited to have Saylor on board with us this summer," says Siera Love, National Manager of Nike Volleyball Camps. "She brings a unique style of coaching combined with enthusiasm to the program and we are sure campers will improve under her instruction."
This new camp will be offered in June of 2019, and campers can choose between two programs, All Skills and Position Specialty. The All Skills program is designed for players ages 10-18 of all ability levels who are looking to improve their overall fundamentals and develop the proper mechanics in all aspects of volleyball. The Position Specialty camp is geared towards players, ages 13-18, who are looking to enhance their skills in their specific position through specialized training on the latest techniques used by collegiate athletes.
Over the course of four days, campers will engage in 4-5 hours of daily volleyball instruction with the Rockford University staff. This camp is set to run June 24-27th, Monday through Thursday.
