SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Jan. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This girls basketball day camp will be held at Macalester College in St. Paul and will be directed by Head Women's Basketball Coach Pam Findlay and her collegiate staff. Campers will train in the newly expanded Leonard Center Athletic Complex, home to the Scotts basketball and volleyball programs.
Coach Findlay is no newbie when it comes to collegiate coaching and camps. Prior to arriving at Macalester College, Findlay was the Head Women's Basketball Coach and Nike Basketball Camps Director at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR for two seasons. During her time at L&C, Findlay took a team with a 3-game winning record in her first year and led them to 16 victories and an appearance in the Northwest Conference Tournament. This was the largest improvement in Division III history that year.
Findlay is excited to lead the first ever Nike Girls Basketball Camps in St. Paul, MN in summer 2019 and will be joined by her staff of Macalester College assistant coaches and student athletes. Highlights of camp will include fundamental drills, shooting development, competitive scrimmages, position specialty instruction, lectures on nutrition and college athletics, and an in-dept discussions on situation play.

This Monday-Friday, multi-session camp is open to girls, ages 8-15, of all ability levels.
