US Sports Camps Announces New Nike Softball Camp Location in Decatur, Illinois
Nike Softball Camps, a subsidiary of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, is thrilled to announce the addition of a new Illinois softball camp.
SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Feb. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The new Nike Softball Camp will be held at the Workman Family Softball Field, Millikin University's newly built softball facility.
Co-Head Coaches and Co-Directors Katie Tenboer and Whitney Sowers will be leading the all-skills camp. The new camp will be available for day and overnight campers and runs from June 23-26. Both Tenboer and Sowers have taken the program to new heights going 22-14 in 2018 and 32-12 in 2017.
Millikin's award-winning Workman Field was completed in 2017 and features a turf field, turf infield, batting cages, stadium seating, and lights. The state-of-the-art field is home to the NCAA Division III Millikin Big Blue.
Campers receive focused instruction on all facets of the game with an emphasis on the fundamentals and proper technique. Athletes will be challenged in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
