Charlie Hoeveler (Founder and CEO) started US Sports Camps in 1975 with a mere 150 campers, running tennis programs for legendary player Billy Jean King and her associates. By 1986, Hoeveler had worked his way into an ownership position and that year USSC served 2,000 campers. At that point he left his full-time job and took over operations of USSC… and the rest is history.
Today, US Sports Camps houses 25 full-time employees and 10-15 summer staff members to assist with customer service in the busy summer months. Apart from their internal staff, USSC contracts several thousand college coaches, professional players and teaching professionals as site directors and instructors.
