US Sports Camps and Nike Youth Ultimate Camps Return to Fairmont Park in Philadelphia, PA
San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) June 10, 2015 -- The Nike Ultimate Camp of Philadelphia is in its third year of operation under the Nike Camps umbrella, but has been running since 2008. Camp is directed by ultimate frisbee experts and enthusiasts, Jim Brose and Richard Atkins. Brose spent two years as President of the Philadelphia Area Disc Alliance (PADA), one of the largest ultimate organizations in the world, and founded the Philadelphia Ultimate Camp in 2004. Richard Atkins has been with the Philadelphia Ultimate Camp since inception and has had one of the longest, most successful ultimate careers worldwide.
The 2015 Nike Ultimate Camp of Philadelphia will be held from June 22 – 26 and runs daily from 9:00am to 4:00pm. This youth ultimate summer camp in Pennsylvania is geared towards boys and girls, ages 12-18, of all ability levels. These Nike campers will have the unique opportunity to play on “Philadelphia’s favorite locale for ultimate, Edgely Field at Fairmount Park.
“The last two years working with Nike Ultimate Camps have been great. We are excited to build off of our successful program and have the opportunity to offer our camp to more kids this year,” Brose said. “We love what we do, because along with ultimate skills, we are also a teaching our campers life skills that they can utilize forever. It’s extremely rewarding.”
