SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Feb. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This girls field hockey camp in Fredericksburg will be held at the Fredericksburg Field House, a premiere indoor turf arena, and will be directed by Coach Jaime Tierney.
Jaime Tierney was recently named as Head Field Hockey Coach at the University of Mary Washington after coaching for 14 years as the Head Varsity Coach of James Monroe High School, a state championship team. Her extensive knowledge of field hockey comes from playing at the collegiate and national level, coaching for USA Field Hockey Futures, and at the collegiate, high school, and club level. She will be bringing along her elite staff to help field hockey players improve in their skills and gain confidence in their abilities.
With the new addition of this Virginia field hockey camp, players from Northern Virginia can learn proper mechanics while also competing with fellow field hockey players who share their passion for the game. Goalies looking to improve their skills can receive specialized instruction on the latest techniques used by collegiate athletes. Players can also expect to work on their position through live game-play and individualized drill work.

This girls day camp is set to run Monday-Thursday, July 22-25, 9:00am-3:00pm. Campers can experience playing against their friends at the indoor and outdoor turf facilities at The Fredericksburg Field House in Virginia. As a partner camp of USA Field Hockey, Coach Tierney is also sanctioned to make referrals to the USAFH Futures program.
