Irvine, CA (PRWEB) October 21, 2015 -- US Storage Centers, a self-storage developer, owner and operator, announced today it has received unanimous approval for the development of a self storage facility located in the city of North Miami, FL. The development will be a Class ‘A’ five-story facility consisting of 123,000 rentable square feet featuring climate controlled units and state-of the-art security and amenities. It will be located at 15555 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach.
"We are at the forefront of developing next generation storage facilities,” said Charles Byerly, president and chief executive officer. “Our development pipeline is very full and all of the facilities are designed to meet tomorrow’s standards and the growing demands of our customers.”
The project, which is slated to open in early spring 2017, is the latest for US Storage Centers who recently developed and opened its flagship location in Alhambra, CA.
“Our first storage project, which is still in our portfolio, was built in 1985, so at our core we are developers,” said Drew Hoeven, president of real estate. “We are long-term owners, and when we build, we put a high premium on quality and features that will last for decades to come. This project is no different.”
