US Storage Centers Makes First Texas Acquisition
Irvine, CA (PRWEB) June 19, 2015 -- US Storage Centers announced today that it has acquired the self storage facility located on 800 Fulgham Road in Plano, Texas. The company has been operating eight facilities in Texas, including one in Plano, for the last four years. This marks the company’s first acquisition in the Lone Star State.
“We’ve had a lot of success with third party management in Texas and we’re excited to be acquiring our first of hopefully many properties in what we see as a competitive, major US market,” said Charles Byerly, president and chief executive officer. “Plano is a market we know well, and we’re confident that this facility will experience an increase in revenue and occupancy as a result of our advanced operations and marketing platforms.”
The Plano self storage facility consists of seven buildings located on approximately 4.8 acres of land. Storage units at this location range in size from 5’x5’ to 12’x20’. Climate control and a significant amount of office warehouse tenancy options are also offered. Roll-up doors, wide driveways, and security features such as electronic gated access, video monitoring, and wrought iron perimeter fencing are all part of the facility features.
