USC Rossiers Edventures Business Accelerator Selects Socialtech.Ai for the 2020 Cohort

SANTA FE, N.M., Oct. 14, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today, SocialTech.AI, a public benefit corporation located in Austin, Texas, unveiled the UNMUDL work and learn marketplace. At the unveiling, USC Professor Doug Lynch announced that UNMUDL will become the newest member of USC's EdVentures Accelerator, a unique accelerator focused on education innovation to enhance equitable access to learning. Doug stated that: "given USC's commitment to both catalyzing innovations that matter and focus on women entrepreneurs, Social Tech is a logical fit. Of the many applications to the program, given both the clear competence of the team, the import of the focus and the potential of the model, Social Tech was a logical choice for EdVentures." Social Tech's flagship product, UNMUDL, is founded on a cooperative business model for working learners that will be unique to the accelerator.

The goal of SocialTech's UNMUDL is to become the one-stop marketplace for the 64.5 million working learners in the United States and the even greater number of working learners across the globe. The UNMUDL work and learn marketplace focuses on non-degree, skill-driven learning options and tools for working learners to develop skills as well as build real-world experiences to practice and prove those skills. The marketplace is co-founded by Innovate+Educate a skills-based hiring non-profit out of New Mexico that over the past decade has been developing a skills-based taxonomy and tools to fuel a skills-driven ecosystem. Founding partners include the National Institute for Student and Organizational Development (NISOD.org), an organization service community and technical colleges across the U.S. and an initial five founding community colleges. Key to UNMUDL will be ensuring real-world experiences with business and industry.
