USC Consulting Group Names Terry Maher as Healthcare Practice Leader
Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) October 11, 2013 -- USC Consulting Group (USCCG) names Terry Maher as Practice Leader for its Healthcare Practice. Terry is a partner at the firm and also serves as a Vice-President and Senior Operations Manager where he manages a team of operational consultants charged with identifying and delivering process and productivity improvements to a variety of clients and industries. He will bring this experience to bear with a dedicated focus on Healthcare.
Starting at the firm in 1975, Terry has spent his entire professional career at USCCG, and is the longest tenured employee at the firm. He has served in a number of different roles and was the inaugural winner of the Creativity/Innovation award in 1990.
Terry helped to establish the firm’s original foothold in Healthcare having worked on a number of cost reduction and productivity projects with Hospital clients in the late ‘90s through the mid 2000’s. Since then he has added a significant amount of experience in other industries including Manufacturing, Building Products and most recently Mining; having just completed work at a large silver mine in South America.
The concepts of Business Process Improvement are applicable to all industries and given its current challenges, the Healthcare industry can benefit greatly from them. “With the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, Hospitals and Healthcare systems have opportunities to improve their financial performance, and levels of patient care and satisfaction by improving their operations.
