The Utah STEM Action Center is excited to announce Utah STEM Fest's Virtual Week of STEM, taking place November 9-13, 2020.

The virtual event will champion and celebrate the inherent integration of STEM in our everyday lives, share the impact science, technology, engineering and mathematics has on our community, and will inspire us to make a difference in our future.

Utah STEM Fest has a goal of bringing attention to STEM-based learning while sparking the interest and imagination of students looking to pursue STEM careers in the future. Additionally, STEM Fest is a place where students can engage with industry professionals to learn what opportunities are available to them. “Ultimately, we're fostering an environment for Utah's students to start their own unique STEM journey," said Tamara Goetz, Utah STEM Action Center's Director. "Even though a live event will not be held this year, we're excited Utah STEM Fest's Virtual Week of STEM will impact educators, students, and parents alike.” The event is offered as a week-long digital program, and will include a comprehensive STEM magazine that will be distributed throughout the year, as well as other learning materials.

"One of the best ways to engage students in science, technology, engineering, and math is through hands-on activities; and this year's Virtual Week of STEM will offer daily learning opportunities for teachers, students and parents across Utah,” said David Wicai, the Center's Marketing and Communications Manager.
