Vail MLS Appoints Jim Pyke as New Chairman
Vail, Colorado (PRWEB) August 31, 2013 -- The Vail Multi-List Service provides real property information for most of Eagle County, including the towns from Dotsero to East Vail and into Northern Eagle County. As Chairman of the VMLS, Pyke will oversee the VMLS services for more than 600 members of the VBR.
Pyke grew up in the Vail Valley following his family’s move to the area in 1969. After graduating from the University of Colorado in Boulder, he returned to the Vail Valley to raise his own family. His wife, Liz and their three children are actively involved in community activities and ‘Coach Jim’ has shared his passion for sports with young athletes on the ski hill and football, baseball and basketball fields.
In 2004, Pyke obtained his real estate license and started working for Sonnenalp Real Estate. He also owns and operates a technology consulting business that services real estate developments and golf resorts across the United States. It’s this unique skill set and background in the valley that makes Pyke a perfect fit for the Chair position. “Technology plays a pivotal role in real estate services these days. The Vail Multi-List Service helps its members leverage existing and new technologies creating the best experience for buyers, sellers and homeowners,” says Pyke. “As the real estate market continues to recover, I look forward to assisting our members in providing the highest level of service to their clients.”
